Brooke Black (LTA – Tennis for Britain) and Thijs Boogaard (Netherlands) claimed the inaugural Casper Ruud ITF J200 titles at Oslo Tennis Arena, capping off an incredible week of junior tennis in Norway.
In the girls’ final, Brooke overcame Sweden’s talented Lea Nilsson in a hard-fought match, winning 7-6(3), 6-3. On the boys’ side, Thijs showcased his dominance with a commanding 6-2, 6-1 victory over Thomas Flynn of Switzerland. Remarkably, this marks Thijs’ fourth consecutive tournament victory without dropping a single set—a testament to his outstanding form.
Among the Norwegian players, Sander Juul Sivertsen from Heming Tennis & Padel reached the second round in the main draw, delivering a strong performance. Kaisa Helgesen (Stavanger Tennisklubb) and Frederic Borch Nielsen also impressed, both advancing through the qualifying finals.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the players, partners, officials, and ball girls and boys who contributed to an unforgettable week of international junior tennis at Oslo Tennis Arena. The event has set a high standard for the Casper Ruud Junior Tour and highlighted the incredible talent emerging on the global tennis stage.
